I left Bristol to attend what was an intimate affair on the Pembrokeshire coast.
Nik and Chris are a creative couple from ‘up north’ who have been lured into the stunning Welsh coast line. They had committed themselves to having an eco wedding, so everything was responsibly and locally sourced or made by themselves. Nik runs a shop called Little House In The Town and seems to have spent much of her time sourcing beautiful items for the wedding as well as other peoples homes. She makes the shell garlands you can see below.
There was a simple registry signing earlier in the day, with the couple then returning home to the farm they live on to have the real deal with a close selection of friends and family. Nik’s dad performed the ceremony with the couple reading their own vows. With a setting beside a beautiful pond and with such an intimate nature, it’s no surprise there were more than a few tears.
We all headed off to the beach with me following Reg the beetle, to enjoy sunshine, waves and drinks. Then returning to the farm to listen to the boys playing music and get stuck in to delicious food.
Being a farm there were bound to be some animals, and they wanted to get involved to. I’ve never before been at a wedding attended by horse, and I may never again.
Many many many thanks to Nik and Chris for being absolutely amazing and having me at their day. They made it so easy for me to get stunning pictures.
